What we collect

We collect your email, name, and the videos you upload. We log viewer IP addresses (anonymised) to power analytics.

How we use it

Your data is used solely to operate Reelo — authentication, video delivery, and analytics shown to you. We never sell your data.

Third parties

We use Stripe for payments, Cloudflare R2 for video storage, and Brevo for transactional email. Each has its own privacy policy.

Chrome / Edge extension

The Reelo browser extension requests access to all sites solely to show a floating recording-controls bar on the tab you're recording and to let you start a recording from any page. Specifically:

• The extension mirrors your existing Reelo sign-in token from reelo.team into the browser's local extension storage, so a recording started from the toolbar can be uploaded to your account. It does not collect a password or any new credential — it copies a session you already created by signing in.
• Screen, tab, and camera/microphone capture happens through the browser's own capture APIs (desktopCapture/getDisplayMedia) and is processed locally in the browser. The extension does not read, collect, or transmit the content, form data, or browsing history of the pages you visit.
• The finished recording is uploaded directly to Reelo's own API (reelo.team) — never to a third-party analytics or advertising service.

Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Danger Zone. Uninstalling the extension removes the locally mirrored sign-in token immediately.
